Called To Order: Meeting called to order at 6:40PM by President Andrew Sharp.
Treasurer Report: The complete report posted. Available funds $8,788.7
Updates:

Recess equipment will be purchased for use by all classes from the project's budget. The cost will be under $800.

A special THANK YOU to Mr. Ruben Guardia for his generous donation of soccer goals for the school!

A very special THANK YOU to Ms. Stephanie Evans for hosting a spirit day at Music Valley Antiques that raised $155.54, she graciously rounded the donation to $500!

Skate Night at Rivergate skate raised $404.

Spanish classes are in need of some educational materials and the PTO will purchase them for $300 drawn from the project's budget.

Summer Kick Off Book Swap will be held the week of May 18th, with the drop of books beginning on May 11th. Please bring in age appropriate books for K through 5th grade.

Teacher Appreciation Week will be May 4th-8th. Donations are still being sought with needs for Thursday and Friday of that week. Staff favorites lists have been updated on our website. Items needed for TAW are posted to our Amazon Wishlist.

Multicultural Night will be held on May 1st.

Field Day will be on May 15th a signup will be generated for volunteers to help that day, there will be a need for 30 volunteers. K-2 will be in the morning with 3-5th being held in the afternoon. Sign up now available on Planhero here.
New Business: It was moved, seconded, and passed unanimously for the purchase of gift cards for all of the staff on Teacher Appreciation Week at a total of $1400.
Staff Report: Delivered by Ms. Hardin. TCAP is underway and going well. The NPL Puppet Truck will be at Pennington in the first week of May. All Library books are due by May 11th.
Principal’s Report: Delivered by Ms. Gonzalez The fifth grade field trip will have 34 attending. Dia Del Los Ninos will be held in school on Friday May 1st. There will be several activities that the students will be participating in throughout the day. The chickens are currently in the incubator along with 2 ducks and 2 turkeys. The first 4 students received their tokens to get a book from the book vending machine. Four more students will receive tokens this Friday. The suggestion mail box is very productive. Ms. Gonzalez thanked Mr. Guardia and Ms. Evans for their donations.
